Holy Wave “Crys” Music Video
Austin band Holy Wave share the new video for “Crys“, a dreamily hazy garage-psych nostalgia trip taken from their album Adult Fear, out now on Austin’s The Reverberation Appreciation Society and on limited cassette via southern California label Burger Records. The Rachel Kichler-directed video follows young star Georgia Carter — who should probably play the lead in whatever Linklater is doing next — as she escapes from her suburban Texas bedroom for a day of aimlessly cruising around on her bike, breaking into the neighbor’s pool, and just general, glorious teenage freedom, and it has a sweetly melancholic vibe that perfectly complements the song’s wistful, disillusioned sentiment.
